Back in The Cabal one shot, Norman revealed a shadowy figure to his Cabal members (Loki, Namor, Dr. Doom, and Emma Frost). This figure is someone powerful enough to keep Loki (a god) and Dr. Doom in line. Much speculation has been discussed recently about just who this figure could be.

Marvel has released a preview of Dark Reign: Fantastic Four #1. I’m not much on tie-in series and I’m not too excited about Dark Reign. Having said that, this series should be worth checking out.

I think Secret Invasion lasted too long and lost a little steam at the end. However, I’m excited about the follow-up Dark Reign. The idea looks promising. Norman Orborn in control of the heroes (and villains) of the Marvel Universe should produce a bunch of great ideas for stories.

I’m a big fan of Alex Maleev, but after seeing the preview pages for Secret Invasion: Dark Reign #1, I think he needs to refine his rendition of Namor.
 
In some panels he looks like a creepy old man and in the last panel of the last page, he looks like Bono from U2.
