   These are a nice set of photos from the Thor movie. I’m impressed and hopeful that the movie will be worth seeing. I can see some Jack Kirby influences in costumes and sets. And the poster link is great. Of course it will all depend on how the story is written/directed and the performances of the actors.

   I am a Silver Age admirer of the Marvel Universe. I feel that the sets for the Thor Movie a pretty spectacular looking, but I am not too enthusiastic about Thor’s Outfit. I can handle the Helmet, but the Tunic and the Pants could have been a lot more traditional of the Thor Comic Series. It seems that the Marvel Images of their characters are always manipulated and made out of images of some director’s vision because his name is attached to the project. They could have even used the costume from latest Thor Comic and add the way the sleeves are to the pants. The use the Gold pants from the before the Heroes Return Series. Marvel needs to stand up for its own creations and stop letting non-believers just influence the play in their universe. But as it may have been mentioned before, The Movies story must be written/produced and directed well and the performances of the actors must come close to what the creators and writers had envisioned for their characters.
