Captain America Movie Poster Revealed

There’s the first movie poster for Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger in theaters on July 22, 2011. While it may not be the strongest movie poster (it’s a little dark), I think it’s a great image. I understand not having the mask. It’s better to show Evans’ face – but he should be looking forward. No surprise we’re seeing this today, as the first preview is supposed to air during Superbowl XLV this Sunday on FOX.

    I keep reading from the director how this is suppose to be a fun, almost Indiana Jones type movie. This looks more like something for Return of the Sith.

    Yeah – it’s a little dark considering what the tone of the movie is supposed to be. We’ll see – marketing and director are two different things.
