Tron: Legacy Trailer Debuts

Tron Legacy Trailer

The first trailer for Tron: Legacy – in theaters December 17, 2010 – has debuted online. Just click the image above to watch it in HD. The excitement has been building to crazy levels for this trailer and it does not disappoint.

Many have wondered what’s the point of a Tron movie 25-years later. Computer graphics now resemble real life, not the RGB tinted world of the original film. Just think of the Tron universe as its own world with a distinct visual style – a technological, computer generated Emerald City. The first updated visual of the “computer world” perfectly shows what the updated universe looks and feels like.

I personally can’t wait to see this in December.

Here’s the full studio synopsis:

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
