Secret Avengers Teases Mystery Character
Marvel’s May Avengers reveals continue this week in a mysterious way. May 2010 will bring Secret Avengers #1 by Ed Brubaker and Mike Deodato. The first teaser is shows a character in a Spider-Man like pose, but I don’t think it’s the wall crawler.
One, the quote “I focus on the solution, not the problem” doesn’t sound too much like a Spidey quote. It’s upbeat, but to technical and cold sounding to be Spider-Man.
Second, if Spider-Man is going to be in an Avengers book, I’m guessing it will be in the Bendis written Avengers title.
Since this title is written by Ed Brubaker, I bet we’ll see Steve Rogers in here in some capacity.
The term Secret Avengers was used during Marvel’s Civil War to cover the heroes that were against Iron Man and the Superhero Registration Act.
