That’s actor Tequan Richmond (Everybody Hates Chris) and he posted that image to TwitPic back on November 20, 2009. So, this has been in the works for a while and it’s just now starting to surface. If the Bleeding Cool tipster is reliable – look for a major announcement at San Diego Comic-Con this year.
Original Post: Bleeding Cool was sent a tip, stating that the cast of the Young Justice League would be Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, and Connor Kent (and the aforementioned Arrowette).
The only noticeable character missing is Wonder Girl / Donna Troy. Not having an Amazonian/Wonder Woman representative seems a great disservice to that character’s history and importance at DC.
Along with that tip, was a blurry image of Aqualad:

Not liking Aqualad’s design. Ethnic diversity is one thing that YJ had to begin with, remember Empress, granddaughter of a Vodoun priestess? Or Slobo, the Czarnian? Or maybe Secret, the little dead girl? Changing the ethnicity of a known character where an unknown character could have sufficed is just stupid.
I’d rather have the Cassie Sandsmark version of Wondergirl, as well as the Tim Drake Version of Robin so we could have the original Young Justice cast (along with Impulse and Superboy).
