Kneel Before Exclusive Action Figure Zod

I’ve seen a lot of really good Superman and Batman action figures in recent years, but villians seem to get overlooked. The often-inferior evildoer figures are seemingly released just so there’s somebody for our caped heroes to beat up. You know what I’m talking about, the ones we buried in sand or threw against the wall as kids. (My Super Powers Joker has at least 2-3 body parts missing!)

But no more. Kneel before Zod! (If for no other reason than his figure doesn’t seem to have knees, and can’t kneel before you!)

MattyCollector has a new exclusive 12-inch release of our favorite Supes villian, complete with display case, extra hands and a cache of weapons he can bend in half. Now I’m usually not fond of large figures — I consider them to be too much like Barbie dolls — but this one looks really nice.

What I’m really curious about is the disclaimer on MattyCollector: “You must be 18 or older to purchase this product.” Will Zod somehow corrupt our youth? Zod hates kids? Hmmm… interesting. Toys have sure changed since I was a kid.
