First Images from DC Showcase Animated Spectre Short

The Spectre makes his animated debut as the title character in the inaugural entry within the DC Showcase series of animation shorts. Gary Cole (Entourage) provides the voice of The Spectre, which will be distributed February 23 by Warner Home Video as part of the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Blu-ray/DVD.

Now these are the images I’ve been waiting to see. I know that Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will be good, but the idea of animated shorts starring DC’s second tier characters was what really intrigued me.

I’m glad they’ve gone with Jim Corrigan as the Spectre. Although I do like the current Crispus Allen character, Corrigan is the original and that’s the character that should get the spotlight in these shorts. Can’t wait to see how this turns out and what DC has planned for their next DVD release.

Special effects wizard Drew Flynn gets spooked inside his own personal house of horrors in The Spectre, the first entry within the DC Showcase series of animation shorts. The Spectre will be distributed February 23 by Warner Home Video as part of the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Blu-ray/DVD.

A bit of romantic history flows between Detective Corrigan and Aimee Brenner in The Spectre, the inaugural entry within the DC Showcase series of animation shorts. Gary Cole (Entourage) and Alyssa Milano (Charmed) provide the voices of Detective Corrigan and Aimee Brenner, respectively. The Spectre will be distributed February 23 by Warner Home Video as part of the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Blu-ray/DVD.

  1. Been a long while since I have seen or read the cominc The Spectre. I am looking forward to this latest installment from the creative teams at Warner Bros. in conjunction with the DC minds.

This will be another leap ahead, will the competition be able to keep up? Nice to see these other characters from the DCU come to the screen and be given the respect that is due. The A list heroes are great, spectacular and keeps me adding this title to an ever expanding collection.

To have this DVD in my hot little hands, bating to see what’s next on the list. “Batman Under the Red Hood” Perhaps this will answer the Jason Todd story arc of the second Robin. (we will see)

Now here is a hard comment, one that I have posted time and time before. Give the Teen Titans Judas Contract their time to shine!

Marv there are many of us supporting this project.

There is by history of what Warner has done plenty of following to make this a profitable venture. Why do I say this? Because we are ecletic by nature and respect the talent.
