Just a few days before Iron Man 2 hits theaters, Disney is releasing the 1994 Marvel animated series staring the armored Avenger. Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Series is listed as a 3 disc DVD set containing 26 episodes. Amazon already has it available to pre-order for $20.99 – that’s a steal for this hidden gem of a series.
While, it’s not as good as Marvel’s other 1990’s series (X-Men and Spider-Man), it does feature a few other Avengers (Scarlet Witch, Spider-Woman, Century, Hawkeye) and a great cast of villains (Mandarin, MODOK, Fin Fang Foom, and many more).
For just over $20 – Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Series is well worth checking out.

Bah! Slow USA DVD releases.
I had already bought the UK PAL DVD set at least a year ago, long ago watched this. I wish the U.S. would release some shows not already available in UK or Australia.
Copied the DVDs to Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks to make the region-free, and my DVD player is one of the cheap Chinese ones, and plays PAL DVD fine.
If I’m not mistaken, the UK set was cheaper too, even after shipping! What gives?
It’s about time! I wonder how long it will take to get around to the other series.
Oh, and Disney – where’s the rest of Gargoyles, dammit?!
