Bendis and Romita Jr. Take Over Avengers

Rumors of a new creative team began a few weeks ago with Marvel’s April solicitations stating all the current Avengers books had been canceled. Bendis’ tweets and Marvel’s free comic book day offering led many to believe that Brian Bendis and John Romita Jr would serve as the new creative team on a re-launched Avengers book in May.

Marvel has just confirmed that with what one can only assume is the first of a series of teaser images-featuring georgous Romita Jr. artowrk—debuting the new Avengers team.

First up is Captain America. From the text and the gun – all signs point to Bucky-Cap.

allaboutduncan is really Phillip Duncan and he's been reading comic books as long as he can remember (with memories of Marvel's Godzilla and Shogun Warriors being the first).
