allaboutduncan is really Phillip Duncan and he's been reading comic books as long as he can remember (with memories of Marvel's Godzilla and Shogun Warriors being the first). A web developer by profession, he decided to act upon a long gestating idea and create the site your reading now. Teaming up with his friend (who happened to have the perfect domain name) they revised the former Superheroes-R-Us site into what it is now.Join Our Facebook Comments

AMC Orders Walking Dead Pilot
In 2009, it was reported that AMC had optioned Robert Kirkman’s Image Comics series The Walking Dead as a tv series. News followed that Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist) was on board as writer and director. It sounds like a winning combination, right?
Evidently AMC thinks so as well. Variety is reporting that they’ve officially order the pilot. Fingers crossed, we should get to see this in 2010 – followed by a series in late 2010 or 2011.
Thank you AMC.
Catch up (or check out) The Walking Dead at Amazon.com – they’ve got all the trades in stock and ready to go.
