X-Men Cartoon Arrives on DVD April 28

X-MenVol1-2

In an amazing announcement, TVShowsOnDVD is reporting that the 1990’s X-Men Animated Series will finally see the light of day on DVD this year.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced 2 volumes for release on April 28, 2009. No word on how many episodes each DVD set will contain.

With each season consisting on 13 episodes, I would hope that volume 1 would contain episodes 1-13 and that volume 2 would contain episodes 1-13 of season 2. As soon as we know, we’ll post more info.

Regardless, you  can already preorder Volume 1 and Volume 2 at Amazon.com for only $16.99. What a deal.

  1. All I can say is….ABOUT TIME!

Walt Disney /Buena Vista did release a few volumes of the 90′s Spider-Man cartoon a few years back but there seemed no rhyme or reason to it.

Hopefully this release of X-Men will be chronological.
