  1. Favorite Joe: Stalker

Why: Because he had his own cycle with a “Gatling gun” attachment and he had a cool jet pack.

  2. i was going to burn myself on a hot pot of boiling water but then a guy in a blue vest with a marines tattoo on his chest, and a gay biker mustache popped out of nowhere and told me that would be a dumbass move. and knowing that, was half the battle.
    yo joe

  3. My favorite was The Baroness, for 2 reasons………….
Hey, I was an adolescent boy growing up in the 80′s, and Smurfette just didn’t do it for me. :)

  4. Favorite Character: Flint

Reason: Cool action Figure and in the comics and in the cartoon series, he was much cooler than Duke. Why do you think Lady Jaye was with him?

  5. Snake Eyes was an is still my favorite.

He is a ninja with a pet wolf who’s girlfriend was the hot redhead on the team despite him being an ugly guy who couldn’t talk.

An example to all the kids that you really can be anything you want if you tried hard enough.

  6. Snake Eyes, maybe. I want some more Joe/Transformers crossover comics! How about a crossover cartoon or some movie cameos?

  7. ..EASY…SNAKE EYES…why???…He is mysterious …technical…truly STEALTH!!…
    nuff said!

I grew up watching G.I. Joe cartoons every saturday mornings and weekday afternoons in syndication.DUKE is my favorite character.

  9. My favorite Joe was Tunnel Rat!

Why? His action figure came out in 1987, about the same time as the “Tour of Duty” TV series about the Vietnam War. My friends and I were fascinated by the episode focusing on tunnel warfare. It always seemed funny to us that Tunnel Rat had the biggest backpack and gun…might be tough bringing all that through a cramped tunnel!

  10. Gung-Ho, because he was the first Joe toy I ever had, and he has always been a lot of fun, be it on the cartoon or in the comics. Nevermind the ridiculous “gay biker” jokes, Gung-Ho is one bad dude!

  11. Snake Eyes. He was the first figure I bought, all black and all silent. Even though he has no thumbs, I still love him.

  12. Favorite Joe: Cover Girl

Why: Brains, Looks, and skills the total package.

  13. Beachhead.
    a) Great freakin’ outfit. Check the mask. Super easy for backwoods of Ellsworth, ME re-creation of G.I. Awesomeness. And who doesn’t carry their spare ammo on their chest? Honestly.
    b) G.I. Joe Special Missions with him climbing up through the floor of an airliner to take out some terrorists. Need a knife in the teeth? Wearing a mask? Not a problem for this cat.
    c) Southern accent bad assery courtesy the best season of the cartoon.
    d) He’s not in charge, but he’s in the line of command. (See the episode that breaks down the Joe heirarchy.) Thus, no one screws with him, yet, he’s humbled by his superiors — if not by Duke’s haircut and obsession with khaki.
    e) Got the fig for my 10th birthday: July 13, 1986. Just sayin . . .

  14. Shipwreck

Shipwreck is my favorite because of the way he handled situations. He was a pawn in the most psychological storyline on the TV show. And as a kid, that psychological terror will always be remembered, as will the pain Shipwreck went through to deal with it.

  15. Snow Job! I love the cold and snow. He was the first GI JOE action figure I purchased as a kid and still have him today. I loved the way he was portrayed in the cartoons, called Scarlett “Pretty Lady” and even as an 11 yr old kid I loved that on his file card it stated he was a con-artist! Brilliant! He also came with a ton of accessories… the skis, poles, rifle and backpack. It is a great childhood memory for me. I even remember where I purchaed that figure at. It was a Lanco dept store in Emmaus PA, just outside of Allentown PA. WOO-HOO! GO JOE!!!

My favorite is hands down snake eyes. So much said and communicated without saying a single word. I loved everything G.I. Joe, especially the comic book growing up. Snake Eyes was a central character in that whose history touched upon in Joe and Cobra continuity.

    Thanks,

Snake Eyes. Why? Because he’s THE NINJA!

  18. Anyone can pick Snake Eyes…and of course…he is bad ass…but…the coolest GI Joe is….

    BARBEQUE

    A. He looks badass…in ORANGE !
    B. He fights Fire
    C. The Toy came with the most awesome axe toy ever.
    D. Hes named after an awesome food….playing with the figure will make you want ribs
    E. HIS NAME IS BARBEQUE !!!!!! Hes literally taunting the fire to burn him !!!!…while reminding us all what we really want to eat.

    Nuff said.

  19. My favorite Joe has always been Roadblock. I’ve liked him since his debut in the second mini series.

It was the scence in the big hole the ground where he jumps back into the pit of killer vines so Flint, Mutt, and Junkyard can get away.

He takes all those vines on himself and lives to tell the tale.

  20. My favorite Joe would have to be Duke.
In GI Joe the movie when that opening sequence comes on and Cobra is swarming around the Statue of Liberty and all hell is breaking loose, who is the Joe that breaks up the party by shooting down Major Bluud.

    Duke, that’s who.

He had that “Get the hell out of my country” look on his face. That’s what I’m talking about. Even in the comics, the first time you see Duke, he is scaring the crap out of everyone because they know that he is a tough leader.

  21. Low Light.

That nightmare episode where all the joes were being assulted by nightmares, and Low Light was the one who knew how to fight back, that put him up high on my list. Before that is was probably Snake-Eyes, but Low Light became the man. I also thought it was pretty cool that he was a sniper.

  22. Roadblock

He carried the coolest gun and most importantly the dude was a renowned BBQ cook. He was a bad ass that made the sweet ribs and kicked Cobra’s butt.

  23. Breaker.

No, seriously! He would go into heavy combat situations UNARMED – remember, his fig didn’t come with a gun – just to help keep the lines of communication open. That takes stones, man.

Also, at the end of the MASS device story, he totally beamed the Eiffel Tower to the wrong place (I wanna say Egypt?), and that’s just funny as hell.
