Transformers Robots Revealed

Yahoo! Movies and USA Today have revealed the robots we’ll be seeing in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this summer. There are no real surprises in the list, but it did induce a few groans when I read it.

Here are the Autobots:

  1. OPTIMUS PRIME: Peterbilt Semi – just like first film.
  2. IRONHIDE: Weapons specialist – GMC Topkick -same as first film.
  3. RATCHET: Hummer H2 – was that what he was in the first film. Didn’t realize that.
  4. BUMBLEBEE: 2010 Chevorlet Camaro – Of course he get’s an upgrade How does Sam explain his awesome car.
  5. ARCEE: The pink motorcycle from the animated movie makes her way to the live film. Rumored to be Megan Fox’s vehicle of choice.
  6. JETFIRE: SR71 Blackbird jet (awesome). He used to be a Decpticon, but he switches sides. He’s very old, decrepit and has trouble transforming because of his age (terrible, I’m sure he’ll pass gas or something in the movie.)
  7. JOLT: Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid.
  8. SKID & MUDFLAP: The Twins – Chevrolet Beat and Trax concept cars – they are seen several times in the trailer.

Here are the Decepticons:

  1. STARSCREAM: The F-22 from the first film. Hopefully we’ll see more of him than we did in the first film.
  2. SCORPONOK: Same as the first film. Not too excited about this one.
  3. THE FALLEN: Supposedly one of the first 13 Transformers (along with Prime and Megatron).
  4. SIDEWAYS: He’s an Audi R8. Can be glimpsed in trailers.
  5. SOUNDWAVE: Rumored to be a jet or satellite.
  6. RAVAGE: Just like he should be, he’s a cat.
  7. THE DOCTOR: Stupid looking little robot that looks too much like the annoying Radio from the first film.
  8. WHEELIE: Interesting, he’s a small, radio-controlled truck.
  9. DEVASTATOR: You know who this is. It’s the Constructicons joined together. The single robots are: Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster.
