Spectacular Spider-Man Season 1 Swings to DVD July 28
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced The Spectacular Spider-Man Season 1 DVD set will swing to DVD on July 28. That’s…spectacular news if you were waiting (like me) on a full season set, instead of the 4 episode volumes that were previously released.
The Spectacular Spider-Man Season 1 DVD set will contain all 13 episodes from the first season as well as two bonus features. Spider-Man Reanimated and Stylizing Spidey will offer behind the scenes looks at the making of the hit animated series.
This is the perfect time to check out this great animated series. I’ll admit, I would watch practically any Spider-Man animated series (except Spider-Man Unlimited – ugh!), but The Spectacular Spider-Man is a top notch addition to the web-slinger’s animated arsenal. Seriously, it’s my favorite animated incarnation next to the original 1966 animated series.
