Mary Jane Watson and Jessica Jones to Appear in Amazing Spider-Man #601
Marvel’s built a nice collection of stories without Mary Jane Watson, since magically erasing her marriage to Peter Parker. Ever with a small appearance in the title, she’s been absent from Peter Parker’s life.
That’s going to change in Amazing Spider-Man #601. Mary Jane is set to reappear in Peter’s life in a story by Mark Waid and and artist Mario Alberti.
But that’s not all. Readers will also get a new, 6-page story by Brian Michael Bendis and EIC/artist Joe Quesada that features the Bendis created character of Jessica Jones.
Fans may or may not know this character when to high school with Peter and had a large crush on him. This was play out with hilarious results in recent issues of the Bendis written New Avengers with Jessica’s current husband, the superhero Luke Cage (Power Man) learned about this crush.
I’ll be interested to see what little pieces of info get added to this ret-conned story point.
You knew that Mary Jane Watson returns to Peter Parker’s life in Amazing Spider-Man #601, from the web-tastic team of Mark Waid and Mario Alberti, but now superstars Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Quesada are along for the ride too!
