List of Episodes on X-Men Animated Volume 3 and 4

We’ve received confirmation from Buena Vista Home Entertainment regarding the episodes that will be included on X-Men Animated Volumes 3 and 4.

Similar to what I thought, after the release of these 2 sets, there will only be 10 episodes remaining. That’s not quite enough for a 2-disc DVD set and 2 or 3 episodes too many for a single disc.

So, what will fans see on X-Men Animated Volume 5? My guess is we’ll get the last 10 episodes, plus the 2 Spider-Man Animated episodes that starred the X-Men. This will segue into BVHE releasing the Fox Spider-Man series. Keep in mind, this is purely speculation on my part.

Now, here’s the breakdown of episodes for X-Men Animated Volumes 3 and 4. Look for both DVDs in stores on September 15th.

I don’t know why Buena Vista Home Entertainment is releaseing these two set with THE WRONG EPISODE ORDER! This is outrageous! Buena Vista should realize the episode order they want to release these sets with really messes up the continuity of the show.

Here what the episode order SHOULD be for these releases:

    *X-Men Volume 3*
    Disk 1
    1. No Mutant is Island
    2. Obsession
    3. Cold Comfort
    4. Savage Land Savage Heart, Part 1
    5. Savage Land Savage Heart, Part 2
    6. Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 1: Dazzled!
    7. Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 2: Inner Circle

    Disk 2
1.Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 3: Dark Phoenix
    2. Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 4: The Fate of Phoenix
    3. Orphan’s End
    4. Juggernaut Returns
    5. Sanctuary, Part 1
    6. Sanctuary, Part 2
    7. Weapon X, Lies and Videotape
    8. Secrets Not Long Buried

    *X-Men Volume 4*
    Disk 1
    1. Nightcrawler
    2. Courage
    3. Proteus, Part 1
    4. Proteus, Part 2
    5. One Man’s Worth, Part 1
    6. One Man’s Worth, Part 2
    7. Beyond Good and Evil, Part 1: The End of Time
    8. Beyond Good and Evil, Part 2: Promise of Apocalypse

    Disk 2
    1. Beyond Good and Evil, Part 3: The Lazarus Chamber
    2. Beyond Good and Evil, Part 4: End and Beginning
    3. The Lotus and Steel
    4. Love in Vain
    5. Have Yourself a Morlock Christmas
    6. Xavier Remembers

i agree w/ emanual; if BVHE is going to release x-men than do it right; in production/script order not air date order. fox even said they didn’t air the episodes in order. anyone w/ a computer and a few minutes of time can look up the correct order but a big company like BVHE can’t. don’t they understand this will discourage people from purchasing vols 3 & 4. that means less sales & i know they understand the power of the $!

  3. Gravatars

i concur with Emanuel and Mike. It has to be in original script/production order.

We’ve waited decades – why not put them in the order intended by the creators. The episodes weren’t aired in order because some were held back, as the creators weren’t happy with what they had done and needed more time to make it right. Since they are perfect now, why not put them in the CORRECT ORDER!
