James Robinson Justice League Cover

The James Robinson and Mauro Cascioli’s ongoing Justice League series has been changed to a limited series. This new roster, led by Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) supposedly takes a more proactive stance. This new JL stems from the murder of the Martain Manhunter in last summer’s Final Crisis at the hands of Libra and the Human Flame.

DC’s official blog—The Source—has revealed the final, 2-part cover for the first issue of the series:

Aside from the awesome hero lineup (look, it’s Congorilla and Starman), check out the Legion of Doom inspired villains lurking in the background.

I’ve been very jaded about a lot of books lately, especially the ongoing Justice League of America series. However, this series looks great and with Robinson doing more and more in the DCU, the storyline will hopefully reach beyond the limited series.
