Freddie Williams II Named Artist on JSA All Stars

JSA All Stars DC Comics announced a new JSA book titled JSA All Stars. Set to feature the newer heroes in the JSA, the book will be written by Matthew Sturges with art by the talented Freddie Williams II.

This is great news. No secret that JSA is my favorite team/title, so more of it is a good thing. Secondly, I dig Freddie Williams art, but never got into the Robin title when he was on it. So, seeing his art on a book I know I’ll like is great.

Third, this is a bold move by DC. Fans have no idea what to expect when Bill Willingham and Sturges take over the main Justice Society of America title next. To announce a new series and splitting those writers up shows confidence in their output. Only time will tell, but I’ll be watching (and reading).

Teaming up with his friend (who happened to have the perfect domain name) they revised the former Superheroes-R-Us site into what it is now.
