Final Crisis Reading Order

The final issue (#7) of Final Crisis is in stores today. It’s been a long time coming and a somewhat confusing ride (for some). To make things less confusing, Grant Morrison—in a Newsarama interview—recommends reading the titles in the order below, to best understand the opus that is Final Crisis. One important thing to note, it does look like a few issues of Batman were essential in getting the most from this Crisis. They may even have clues related to the final pages in Final Crisis.

Here’s Morrison’s recommended reading order:

FINAL CRISIS # 1- 3
SUPERMAN BEYOND # 1- 2
SUBMIT
FINAL CRISIS # 4 – 5
BATMAN #682 – 683
FINAL CRISIS # 6 – 7
