Animal Man Returns

Sure, he’s been around in the last few DC events (52, etc), but this is a return to a solo title – at least for 6 issues. Can’t say that I’m terribly thrilled about the concept. I want to read about Animal Man now, not the Animal Man of 2024. Without his family, you lose part of the character’s appeal.

Still, I will check this out and cross my fingers that a new, non-Vertigo Animal Man series will follow.

Plus, dig that Brian Bolland cover that harkens back to Animal Man #1.
