Punisher, Potter and Batman Movie News

- The web site for Punisher: War Zone is now live, although is has practically no content. I’ve never been a big Punisher fan. I guess he’s just not “super” enough for me. The few images on the site don’t exactly make me want to see the movie. However, I usually won’t pass judgement on any superhero related film without seeing it first.

- The LA Times posted a story this morning and revealed that Warner Bros. has decided to split the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows into two films. Film I (November 2010) and Film II (May 2011) will be filmed as one production, but split apart for release. It’s a smart move on WB’s part. It’s something that fans have wanted for many of the films already and it essentially gives them an extra film in the lucrative franchise. Now all that’s left to do is decide where Film I ends and Film II begins.

- The latest viral site (I Believe in Harvey Dent) for The Dark Knight went live a few days ago. If you signed up for email notification, you’ll know that “Dentmobiles” are now beginning their tour across the nation. How convenient that one will be in Austin for SXSW. I hope that Michael will maybe be at Warterloo Records on March 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. to snap a few photos.
