Marvel Wants You to Hero Up

Marvel has released the above image. Iâ€™m not sure what itâ€™s from and the only info Marvel revealed is the headline â€œAre You Ready to Hero Up?â€

This is purely speculation, but Iâ€™m betting this is related to the previously announced SuperHero Squad animated series. My guess is this is the comic companion to the animated series.

I sure hope so. I am completely excited about this series. The figures have been always been cool and the prospect of a Marvel animated series featuring the entire universe of characters is too cool to imagine.

The only significant person missing from the lineup is Spider-Man. This is probably due to the separately licensed Spectacular Spider-Man series.

The lineup looks like a classic Avengers lineup with Silver Surfer added. Not sure who the crab looking claw boy is? Any ideas?
