Infinite Heroes Brings More DC Heroes in 2008

Hawkman from Infinite Heroes2008 will be a great year for DC Universe toys. The DC Universe Classic series has been a great looking line of toys. Featuring a great lineup and great sculpting, it’s been a hit with collectors everywhere.for my money though, the JLU line of figures has been tops. Three figures for $9.99 means they’re going to get some serious playtime from my 4-year old son. That line is getting harder and harder to find and in 2008 they’ll be exclusive to Target stores. Meaning, good luck finding them unless you’re looking on ebay.

So, the best announcement from the 2008 Toy Fair so far has to be the new line of 3 3/4″ figures from Mattel called Infinite Heroes. Featuring an amazing lineup of DC stars, this looks to be an inexpensive catch-all line for the DCU. Looking over the first batch, I’m surprised (and please) there’s not a Superman in sight. Click the image to view the gallery to see all the figures on display. It’s a great mix of classic heroes, surprising villains and everyday heroes. The 3 3/4″ size means they’ll match up with the existing JLU figures and that means the JLU roster in our house will be expanding greatly.
