Dark Avengers Cover Revealed

The cover for Marvel’s newest Avengers title, Dark Avengers, has been revealed. I was anxiously awaiting details on the series, but having seen the cover, I’ll admit I’m not that excited now.

Sure, you’ve got the mystery of the “Iron Patriot” character, but the rest of the lineup is noting spectacular. Wolverine, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel and Venom are all characters  who are willing to cross the line, but putting them together just doesn’t excite me.

Perhaps this is a new, government sanctioned team of Avengers, similar to what the X-Men have going on in X-Force. That would semi-explain the presence of Venom.

I’ll check it out in January, but as of right now I’m not as excited as I was previously.
